I’m Francis Hobbs
West Sussex Conservative Party Candidate for Midhurst Division
A former Lieutenant Colonel in the army, serving worldwide on operations and in ceremoninal roles, Francis moved to Easebourne with his family in 2002. He is married to a local GP and has 4 grown up children, who went to the old St Margaret’s convent.
Since leaving the forces he has worked in a number of entrepreneurial start ups and most recently worked in cloud based software, so he understands the challenges of small business.
Why Francis Loves Midhurst and its Surrounding Areas
Midhurst and the surrounding area is quintessentially England. It has rolling green fields with small hamlets and villages each with their own specific character. You can feel the history everywhere but, above all, it is a friendly and atmospheric place but perhaps feeling a bit down on itself, not least because of the impact of the Angel Hotel fire 3 years ago.
My Plan for Midhurst
